The first day!
January 25, 2006, 11:00 pm
Wow, today was my first day at the university
The university is 30 minutes away from my place. I reached there by 2 PM, did the registration and hung around. I was asked to get back at 6 PM for the dinner. So instead of going back home, I went to the London bridge, roamed around, had food and they got back to the university. There they served a really awesome dinner! Met a lot of international students from Europe, Asia, Africa.. (the dinner was for intl. students only). Tomorrow the university opens official to all.
Now talking about the university, its huge
Huge campus, dozens and dozens of old British style buildings and also a bunch of modern ones. But what I liked the most is the newly built 'Sheppard library'. Its really AWESOME, huge building, hi-tech stuff. The inside looked really futuristic.
Anyway, I haven't been able to see the university fully, but I'll get to see in the coming days. Classes start the coming Monday, till then, various programmes like tours, sightseeing, parties and all.
So long.. !

London !
January 12, 2006, 12:01 am
A lot of people asked me how London's treating me. Well, London's been pretty nice to me, atleast till now. Its been just two weeks, so not yet time to draw any conclusions. One thing I like is that we can see all kind of people here, from different cultures, from different parts of the world; and they are everywhere! Second thing is the freedome one has. Everyone's busy, trying to keep their lives running, so they dont really have time to bother others. When in a crowded street, you can experience it. Everyone's walking/running very fast, not even looking at the sides. Tourists are an exception
And not to ask about the climate. Its really dull, you dont see the sun much. Its already very cold, and to add to the dullness, it rains sometimes! Soon winter will be taking its toll and the sun would then be coming! Eagerly waiting for that..
Anyway, its really weird that I haven't taken any good photos yet. Maybe its time I should start clicking them and putting them online.

Long time..
January 5, 2006, 7:38 pm
Its been so long.. Things (online) have been going pretty bad. Server died, sites drowned, a lot of data lost. I've been working to get things back online for the past two weeks or so. Finally, things have settled down and the sites are back online. (A lot of data lost, including this blog's).
Anyway, I had already posted this earlier (but lost). I am in London right now and will be here for three+ years for my studies. I've joined the Middlesex university here for my undergraduate studies [ Bsc.(Hons) Computer Science ] and I am currently staying at 'Woodgreen'.
Thats all for now!

All you Indian bloggers out there, here is a good chance to get some exposure. Checkout IndianBloggers.com, a directory (+ a ranking system) of Indian blogs. The better your blog and your blogging skills, the more you rank the wider your blog reaches.
Considering the fact that I am a part of this new site, I would recommend all you Indian bloggers to join the system Honestly, I haven't seen much blogs from India, maybe a dozen or so. But this could be a place or even a community where Indian bloggers could interact and share thoughts. So please spread the word,
