NASA's space shuttle Discovery landed down safely at the Edward's airforce base, California at 5:12 PM PDT on 9 August. NASA's infrared cameras followed discovery's each move, till its landing. The landing was smooth and the shuttle will be made free of gases and other substances that might have clung onto it during the descend.
