Me

Its Web 2.0, Tags, Folksonomies, Ajax, thats what everyone's talking about! Web 2.0 sites are eye candie, I am always amazed by their slick and crispy appearance. But what all of these Web 2.0 services do I use? hm

> Flickr - occassionaly upload photos
> Digg - news
> thats all !

I can't think of anything else that I regularly use. I don't do any social bookmarking, I don't use any mashed up maps, I don't use tagging (except on flickr), I don't have a 'homepage' like netvibes (I'm a big fan of about:blank), I don't use any feedreaders and I am rarely subscribed to any feeds and I don't smoke and I don't drink, :)

amen. I am very much the same, except I am an RSS crack addict, but that offsets your flickr/tagging sin. So, we're even.

I'm pretty sure blogs count as web 2.0, too :) They existed before the 2.0 craze but they didn't really take off until :)

Well, good going I suppose. Web 2.0 is a lot more than eye-candy, though. It's about accessibility, and even community (although, that may be taking it a little too far if you ask me.) But social bookmarking is definitely great, and many other things – even social networks can be helpful (so long as you don't let them control your life!)
I'm sure you'll find yourself using a lot more web 2.0 services / sites soon enough... before you even realise it!

icon currently in use does a far better job than any of the proposed replacements at stating clearly and unambiguously what it signifies ... thank you

Flickr and Digg? That’s all? You don’t use del.i.cious or technorati? There are lots of Web 2.0 tools out there. What do you usually use the Web 2.0 tools for? For every usage I’m sure there are bunch of choices.
