I have to disagree with time your time travel explanation...
One cannot see the past as no one can travel past the speed of light (cf Einstein's theories)
However, one could travel to the future if he goes to a speed near the speed of light in which case, time would go slower inside the ship than on earth thus allowing to travel to the future. This would of course require energies that are not available at the time thus making time travel nearly impossible...

This would be a great plugin if it works in other browsers also. I just checked it for including in my GPL project 'PHP Navigator'.
